Hello SFMAPP,
In an upcoming issue of Novo Magazine, we would like to feature SFMAPP to give the public an idea of what the San Francisco Mission Arts and Performance Project is about.
Novo Magazine is a San Francisco based magazine planning to be launched in February 2009, which features the lifestyle of San Franciscans through dining, fashion, art, nightlife, and entertainment.
We plan to release 20,000 copies of our first issue, and 20,000 copies of every issue after that.
In our first issue, we would like to feature SFMAPP. In order to do so, we would need multiple HIGH RESOLUTION pictures (300 dpi or better) from the organization.
I'm sending this email in hopes that you can provide me with a couple of high resolution pictures. If not you, maybe you can direct us on who to contact (with a phone number or email) to get some high resolution pictures that best represents SFMAPP so we can feature you guys in one of our issues!

My partner and I were enlightened to Mapp this past weekend by a dear friend, We are both artists, dancers, actors, and Creators. We'd love the opportunity to bring our crafts to the next Mapp event. We make our artworks by hand in limited quanitites. They include clothing, surfboards, paintings, jewelry and performances tied to our artistic messages.

Hi,
I'm writing from Pirate Cat Radio, a broadcast Radio Station and free form arts venue at 21st St and Florida in the Mission.
We'd love to offer our services as a venue, radio station, and any general way in which we can get involved. We'll be having an Visual Art Show up in our studio/cafe for the month of December, something involving decrepit christmas trees.

I am an artist in the san francisco area and iam really interested in the working with the mapp either as an artist or street level curator. i really like the idea of working in an alternative space or with experimetal materials and arrangments. ive exhibited in san francisco and southern california. i would like to hear more about the progam and how i can become involed. thank you for your time and i hope to talk to you soon.

I got super stoked for MAPP this month, and I cannot download the program. Super sad. I guess it's a .doc file, and my computer is a goober and can't get to it. It sure likes .pdf files tho. . .

I have a studio space at 1890 bryant. Is it possible to bring artwork out of the building to the street instead of having people come into the buildings? Most of my artwork is Latinio themed (I do have images of Frida). Having a studio in the mission does not necessarily make it accessible to the community. Should artists be out in the community instead of the community being expected to come to us?
